Local Outreach
Healthy Harvest
Healthy Harvest is Edgewood’s primary local outreach to the 19th Ward in Rochester, NY. Our team leads tutoring and mentoring programs for students during the school year, meeting both academic and spiritual needs.

Set Free Rochester
Our mission focuses on addressing food insecurity and homelessness—key risk factors for trafficking—through The Pantry and local partnerships.
Edgewood partners with the Set Free Movement of the Free Methodist Church to fight human trafficking through education, prevention, and partnership.

As faithful Christian stewards, we prayerfully administer our church’s tithe by cultivating relationships, providing financial support, and promoting and nurturing impactful missions and ministries.
Our outreach extends beyond our local church—into our community, across the nation, and around the world—to bring Christ’s light, hope, and truth to those in need.

Open Door Mission is a Gospel Rescue Mission breaking the cycle of homelessness and poverty.
We also support their Coldwater Women & Children’s Residential Home

Is a faith-based nonprofit that supports women facing unplanned pregnancies. They offer free services like pregnancy testing, ultrasounds, counseling, and parenting resources, providing compassionate care and practical support.

is a Free Methodist congregation in the inner-city of Rochester. We support their efforts to minister to the neediest.

Provides low cost legal guidance for immigrants.
SCHOLARSHIPS

We provide scholarship support to those in our Edgewood family who attend Free Methodists colleges.
Scholarships we have supported or currently support are: Roberts Wesleyan College, Northeastern Seminary, and other FM colleges.

Edgewood is part of the Free Methodist Church USA, a denomination deeply rooted in justice and global compassion. We work to support ethical practices, missions, and anti-trafficking initiatives worldwide.

World Relief Western New York empowers refugees and immigrants by addressing the root causes of poverty, vulnerability, and injustice. Through expert support, specialized services, and community connections, we help individuals build a foundation for lasting change and belonging.

Some of our national outreach programs include a partnership with the Free Methodist Denomination to support Oakdale Christian Academy, a Christian boarding school for at-risk youth in Jackson, Kentucky.
