The Position:

The Audio & Video Production Director will oversee the audio/visual needs for all departments and the Sunday worship livestream at Edgewood Church. This person will have administrative gifts of organization, time management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work as part of a team.

Qualifications:

• A committed Christian who assumes responsibility for a healthy and godly personal and family lifestyle

• Has a heart to serve and a desire to further the mission and vision of Edgewood Church

• An ability to conceptualize and verbalize sound, video, live stream and tech support as a ministry

• Passion for worship services and other events to lead people closer in their relationship with Jesus Christ

• Desired strengths include: experience or expertise with sound, video editing, live stream and other technological equipment; the ability to manage and direct a team of volunteers; communication/interpersonal skills; and the ability to function well as a team member on the Worship staff and entire Edgewood staff 

• Preferred experience in Adobe Suite and ProPresenter
  

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all sound, tech, and video needs for weekly services and special events, including live streaming (Sundays) and pre-recorded services

• Works alongside Worship Director, Communication Pastor, and Graphic Designer to ensure cohesion and clear vision for weekly services, church activities and special events

• Recruit, train and manage sound, tech, and live stream volunteers 

• Schedule and communicate with sound, tech and live stream teams to cover worship services, church activities and special events

• Maintain sound, tech and live stream equipment

• Continue to strive towards engaging our community and church family through creative ideas that are relevant to Edgewood’s vision and outreach goals

• Video editing for worship services, as needed

• Meet with the Worship Director weekly and Lead Pastor as needed.

• Assume additional duties as assigned by the Lead Pastor and Worship Director

Special Events/As-Needed Duties:

• Collaborate with Worship Director and Lead Pastor for special pre-recorded services, such as Christmas Eve, Easter, VBS, etc.
