Operation Christmas Child

Each Christmas season, Edgewood participates in Operation Christmas Child, a worldwide ministry that gives us the opportunity to share the love of Jesus with children experiencing poverty and hardship.

Beginning Sunday, October 25, pick up a shoebox and packing instructions at Edgewood. Then, prayerfully fill your box with age-appropriate gifts, useful items, and a little extra joy for a child who may otherwise receive very little at Christmas.

These boxes are more than gifts. They are a simple way to reflect Christ’s love through generosity, kindness, and prayer, reminding children around the world that they are seen, valued, and loved.

Please return your completed shoebox to Edgewood by Sunday, November 15 so it can begin its journey to a child in need.

We invite individuals, families, and groups to take part and pray for the child who will eventually receive your box.
