First GO Team Outreach

On Saturday, August 29th, the GO (Gospel Outreach) Team is planning to have what we are calling an “In His Steps Prayer Walk” through a Pittsford neighborhood.

With 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 (“pray continually”) as our theme, the purpose is to intentionally walk through a neighborhood while lifting prayers to the Lord for the residents there. The is no interaction between the praying group and the neighbors.

Those interested will gather at Edgewood at 10:00 am, receive basic instructions on where the neighborhood is located and what we might pray, and then go to that neighborhood, pray and leave door hangers letting the people know we have prayed for them.

The intention is to show our community that God cares for them and we care for them, and will provide an opportunity to share (through our prayers and actions) the good news of Jesus Christ in our area.
