We exist to help people BEGIN the journey with Jesus, GROW in relationship with Him, and SERVE the world. As Free Methodist Church that was planted back in 1860, we have a long history of upholding our core values of biblical living and serving the poor.

Edgewood’s vision is to be a welcoming place for all people to know Jesus and grow as

a community that reflects His love to the world.

  • Jesus Focused- Our entire church body will keep Christ central. The main thing will be

    the main thing.

    Word Grounded- The Bible is the inspired Word of God and is true in everything it

    teaches. The Bible is the standard for faith and practice.

    Community Rooted- It is our hope that all people will have a place where they are

    connecting to the body of Christ relationally through groups and friendships.

    Servant Hearted- It is right that each person would serve the Lord with the gifts and

    talents they have been given by God.

  • We’re part of the Free Methodist Church, a Protestant denomination with roots in Western New York. Free Methodists hold to Wesleyan theology, emphasizing grace, holy living, and justice.

  • Edgewood is led by a pastoral team and supported by a leadership board made up of elected church members. We're also part of the Genesis Conference of the Free Methodist Church, which provides support and accountability.

  • We believe giving is an act of worship. All donations support ministry at Edgewood and beyond—including a 10% tithe to missions. Our finance committee, treasurer, and outside accounting firm ensure transparency and integrity.
